Chinatown Partnership was formed in 2006 to bring residents, business owners and community groups together to rebuild Chinatown following 9/11, and to preserve the neighborhood's unique culture while ensuring its vitality in the future.
Through a broad range of programs, the Chinatown Partnership engages the community and leads efforts to improve the neighborhood’s physical environment through the Clean Streets initiative, streetscape improvements, enhanced lighting and wayfinding projects.
To attract visitors to the neighborhood, Chinatown Partnership hosts events for people of all ages. Innovative events like Taste of Chinatown and Lunar Stages are instilling pride while drawing new generations of visitors from near and far. Explore Chinatown, an award-winning marketing campaign, is connecting Chinatown to the world through the web and welcoming the world to Chinatown by shining a spotlight on the neighborhood’s cultural riches and myriad attractions.
