The Labour Department has been providing comprehensive employment services, including free and efficient employment assistance and counselling services to help job seekers find suitable jobs and employers fill their vacancies with a view to improving the utilisation of human resources in Hong Kong and supporting the further development of our economy. To foster and maintain harmonious employer-employee relations, we encourage good people management practices, promote understanding of labour laws, and provide voluntary conciliation service to help employers and employees resolve their differences.
