St. Clement’s School develops outstanding women who are intellectually curious, courageous and compassionate.
Our mission defines our purpose — the reason we are here. There can be no doubt that we aim to develop outstanding women — we have decades of alumnae who stand out for their unique strengths and leadership and we look forward to continuing this tradition.
•Our students demonstrate care and concern for the well-being of others, their communities, and the world.
•Our students stand out for their unique strengths and qualities.
•Our students are engaged and passionate about learning and possess skills and drive to think creatively.
•Our students demonstrate inner strength and are equipped to take action in the face of new challenges and adversity.
The founders of St. Clement’s School understood the need for an institution of “sound learning and good fellowship” and one that encouraged “developing the ideals of justice, honour and responsibility.” This need is no less relevant today. In a turbulent and fast-changing world it is vital to articulate what truly matters — the core beliefs and principles that should guide everything we do. Nurturing women as leaders is paramount. Developing character, provoking curiosity, fostering compassion, building school spirit, and having a sense of humour and fun — these are the hallmarks of the St. Clement’s experience.
