Abidjan International Airport (IATA: ABJ, ICAO: DIAP) is an international airport located in Abidjan, the capital city of Côte d`Ivoire and the largest airport in the country. The airport is located in the northwestern part of the city of Abidjan, about 15 km from the city center and about 7 km from the Abidjan International Convention Center. The airport has a 3,000 meter long runway that can accommodate large passenger aircraft. The airport can accommodate over 2 million passengers per year and is the most important aviation hub in Côte d`Ivoire. The airport has a new terminal building with excellent shopping, dining and entertainment facilities to meet the various needs of passengers.
