Andøya Airport, Røssvoll, located on the island of Andøya in northern Norway, is the northernmost airport in Norway and the largest military airport in the country. Andøya Airport is the main base of the Norwegian Air Force and the main base of the Norwegian Navy. The airport has a 3,000 meter long runway, which can accommodate large passenger aircraft. The airport has a comprehensive aviation infrastructure, including aviation fuel supply, maintenance, flight command, air traffic control, aviation security and other services. The airport is also one of the largest civil airports in Norway, handling more than 200,000 passengers per year.
