Aksum Airport (IATA: AXU, ICAO: HAAR) is located in Aksum Governorate, Western Ethiopia, and is the main airport of the Governorate and one of the most important airports within Ethiopia. The airport is located about 20 km west of Aksum city, about 30 km from Aksum city and about 90 km from Addis Ababa city.
