Barter Island Long Range Radar Station Airport is a military airport located on Barter Island, Alaska, United States, and is operated by the United States Air Force. The airport is located in the northwestern part of Barter Island, approximately 3.5 miles (5.6 km) from downtown Barter Island. The airport is used primarily for military purposes and is managed primarily by the U.S. Air Force for the operation of long-range radar stations. The airport can also be used for civilian aircraft operations, but due to its location and facilities, it can only provide limited service. The airport`s runway is 5,000 feet (1,524 meters) in length and 150 feet (46 meters) in width. The airport does not provide any commercial services, but there is a small airport building that can provide limited services.
