Bayankhongor Airport (IATA: BYN, ICAO: ZMBN) is an airport located in Bayankhongor City, Mongolia Autonomous Region and is one of the largest international airports in Mongolia. The airport is located in the southwestern part of Bayankhongor, about 25 km from the city center and about 400 km from Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. The airport is managed by the Mongolian Civil Aviation Authority and has a 3,200 meter long runway that can accommodate large passenger aircraft. The airport can accommodate more than one million passengers per year and is one of the most important international airports in Mongolia.
