    Antonio José Sucre Airport (CUM), located in the Venezuelan capital city of Caracas, is the largest international airport in Venezuela and the country`s most important aviation hub. The airport was named after Antonio José Sucre, a hero of Venezuela and the country`s first president. The airport is located in the northwest of the city of Caracas, about 20 kilometers from the city center and about 200 kilometers from the international border. The airport has a main runway that is 3,200 meters long and can accommodate the take-off and landing of large passenger aircraft. The airport can accommodate more than 4 million passengers per year and is home to more than 50 airlines, including those from the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America. The airport has excellent facilities, including stores, restaurants, banks, ATMs, currency exchange, car rental, travel agencies, laundromats, etc.
