Elmendorf Air Force Base (Elmendorf AFB), located in Anchorage, Alaska, is a U.S. Air Force base and home to the command of the U.S. North Pacific Command. The base is comprised of Air Force Anchorage Air Force Base and Anchorage National Airport, and is one of the largest bases in the U.S. Air Force and one of the most important bases in the U.S. Air Force. The base is home to more than 4,000 military personnel, including Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps personnel. The base has a large fleet of aircraft, including the F-22 Raptor, F-16 Fighter, F-15 Eagle, C-17 "Global Hawk transport aircraft, C-130 Poseidon transport aircraft, E-3 Hawkeye early warning aircraft, etc. The base also has a large number of support facilities, including flight training centers, maintenance centers, air command centers, air command centers, etc.
