Eskisehir Airport (IATA: ESK, ICAO: LTAF) is an international airport located in the city of Eskisehir in the eastern province of Istanbul, Turkey. The airport is located about 50 km from the center of Istanbul and about 10 km from the center of Eskisehir. The airport was opened in 1962 and is the largest airport in the eastern part of Turkey and the third largest airport in Turkey. The airport has a 3,200 meter long runway that can accommodate large passenger aircraft. With a capacity of over 2 million passengers per year, the airport is the most important transportation hub in the eastern part of Turkey. The airport has a number of direct routes to several cities in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
