Located in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, Guangyuan Panlong Airport is the third largest civil airport in Sichuan Province and the only international airport in Sichuan Province. The airport is about 25 kilometers from the center of Guangyuan city and 200 kilometers from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province. The airport was officially opened to traffic on November 30, 2006, and is the first international airport in Sichuan Province and the only international airport in Sichuan Province.
