Located in Delingha City, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, China, Haixi Delingha Airport is a regional airport. The airport, which was officially put into operation on July 16, 2019, is the seventh civil airport in Qinghai Province and one of the important regional hub airports in the northwest region.
The route network of Haixi Delingha Airport mainly focuses on the northwest region, with Delingha-Xining, Delingha-Dunhuang and Delingha-Urumqi routes currently in operation. The runway is 3,800 meters long and 45 meters wide, and can accommodate Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft. The airport is expected to have an annual passenger capacity of 1.8 million by 2025.
