Jixi Xingkaihu Airport (IATA: JXA, ICAO: ZYJX) is located in Xingkaihu Town, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, which is the second international airport in Heilongjiang Province and the only international airport in Heilongjiang Province. The airport is about 30 kilometers from the center of Jixi and 120 kilometers from Harbin. The airport was officially opened to traffic on November 1, 2006, and is the second international airport in Heilongjiang Province and the only international airport in Heilongjiang Province. The airport is equipped with a 3,200-meter runway, which can accommodate both large and medium-sized passenger aircraft, and can meet the flight demands of domestic and international airlines. The airport has an international terminal building, which can accommodate more than 1,000 people in and out at the same time, and has perfect facilities for security check, baggage claim and waiting room, which can meet the travel needs of domestic and foreign passengers.
At present, Jixi Xingkai Lake Airport has opened a number of domestic routes, including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming, Xi`an, Wuhan, Qingdao, Jinan, Harbin and other cities, as well as international routes to Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. The airport also plans to open more domestic and international routes to meet the travel demand of passengers.
