Guilin Liangjiang International Airport (IATA: KWL, ICAO: ZGKL) is an international airport located in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. The airport is located in Xiangshan District, Guilin, about 25 km from the center of Guilin and about 20 km from Guilin Liangjiang International Port. The airport was officially opened to traffic on October 1, 1995, and is the first international airport in China.
Guilin Liangjiang International Airport has a main terminal, a domestic terminal, an international terminal, a VIP terminal, a cargo terminal, and an apron. The airport has a 3,200 meter runway that can accommodate large passenger aircraft such as Boeing 747 and Boeing 777 at the same time. The airport can accommodate over 10 million passengers per year and is the sixth largest airport in China.
