Lijiang Sanyi Airport is located in Sanyi Town, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, which is the second largest airport in Yunnan Province and the only international airport in Yunnan Province. Lijiang Sanyi Airport was officially opened to traffic on November 1, 1995, and is the first international airport in Yunnan Province. The airport is located in the southwest of Lijiang City, about 25 kilometers from the center of Lijiang, about 30 kilometers from the ancient city of Lijiang, and about 60 kilometers from Lijiang Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
