Pittsburgh International Airport (IATA: PIT, ICAO: KPIT) is an international airport in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, located in the northeastern part of the city, about 20 miles (32 km) from downtown Pittsburgh. It is the largest airport in Pennsylvania and the 25th largest in the United States, with a capacity of over 14 million passengers per year. The airport has three runways, each over 10,000 feet (3,048 meters) in length, to accommodate large passenger aircraft.
