Tulufan Jiaoghe Airport (IATA: TLQ, ICAO: ZWTL) is located in Jiaoghe County, Tulufan City, Xinjiang, and is the second largest civil airport in Xinjiang and an important civil airport in the western region of Xinjiang. The airport is located about 25 km from the center of Turpan and 400 km from Urumqi.
Built in 1958, the airport is the first civil airport in Xinjiang with a runway length of 2,500 meters and a width of 45 meters, which can meet the take-off and landing requirements of large passenger aircraft. The airport has a domestic terminal and an international terminal to meet the demand of passenger traffic.
The airport currently has several airlines that provide direct access to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Kunming, Xi`an, Urumqi and other cities, as well as connecting flights to all parts of China through Urumqi Airport.
