Ulanqab Jining Airport (IATA: UCB, ICAO: ZBCN) is located in Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and is an international airport in Ulanqab City and an important transportation hub in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Built in 1958, the airport was the first civil airport in China and one of the earliest international airports in China. The airport is located in the southwest of Ulanqab City, about 25 kilometers from the city center, about 20 kilometers from the nearest expressway entrance in Ulanqab City, and about 30 kilometers from the nearest railway station in Ulanqab City. The airport covers an area of about 3.5 square kilometers and has a 2.8-kilometer runway that can accommodate the take-off and landing of large passenger aircraft. The airport has an international terminal that can accommodate more than 1,000 people in and out at the same time, and can accommodate 500,000 passengers per year. The airport has comprehensive aviation facilities to meet the operational needs of domestic and international airlines.
