Wudang Mountain Airport (IATA: WDS, ICAO: ZHSY), located in Danjiangkou City, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, is a medium-sized civil airport, which was officially opened to traffic on December 28, 2012 and is the third navigable airport in Hubei Province. Wudang Mountain Airport is located in the southeast of Danjiangkou City, about 30 kilometers from downtown, 50 kilometers from Shiyan City and 90 kilometers from Xiangyang City. The airport covers an area of about 2.5 square kilometers and has a 2.8-kilometer runway that can accommodate A320 class aircraft at the same time.
