    Zhuhai Jinwan International Airport (IATA: ZUH, ICAO: ZGOW) is located in Jinwan District, Zhuhai. The airport was officially opened to traffic on May 5, 1995, and is the first civil airport in China and the first international airport in China. The airport is located in Jinwan District, Zhuhai, about 20 kilometers from the center of Zhuhai, 30 kilometers from Macau and 60 kilometers from Hong Kong. The airport covers an area of about 3.5 square kilometers and has a 3.5-kilometer runway that can accommodate two large passenger planes at the same time to meet the flight needs of domestic and international airlines. The airport has an international terminal that can accommodate 3,000 people at the same time and has advanced security screening equipment to meet the security requirements of international airlines. The airport can accommodate nearly 2 million passengers per year, making it one of the most important airports in the Pearl River Delta region.
