The Chinese Students and Scholars Association at Nottingham (CSSA-NOTT) is a society of Chinese students and scholars. Currently, it’s members are mainly Chinese from China and some other different countries, together with some students who have interests in Chinese language and culture. It works on behalf of the Chinese students and has been registered with the University of Nottingham as one of its student societies under the International Student Bureau. Activities organized by the excutive committee include sightseeing, movie shows, sports, parties, etc.

The CSSA comprises several departments: Secretary, Treasury, Publicity, Social Liaison, Culture Communication, Social Responsibility and Student Welfare, Sports, Travel, Entertainment and IT. Each department works independently and also as a whole. There are also a broad range of interest groups included in the CSSA, such as the football team, basketball team, badminton society, table tennis team, dragon dance team, rock band, drama society, photography society, etc
