The Association of Chinese Canadian Professors was established to provide an avenue for members to interact, to collaborate and grow together, to advance the interest of members within the university community, to provide assistance to members in needs, and to promote the cultural, scientific and technological exchange between the University of Alberta (and Canada), the members of the Association in particular, and China. The Association will be primarily made up of professorial appointees at the University of Alberta that are interested in fulfilling the above mission, but will also be open to membership from qualified applicants from outside the University.
ACCP is a non-political and non-profit organization of Chinese academics in Canada. It is currently located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. ACCP aims to facilitate the interaction and collaboration among Chinese Canadian academics in institutions of higher learning; and promote and facilitate communication and cooperation in teaching, learning, knowledge creation and community service between the members of the Association and other related organizations in Canada and abroad.
