American Chinese School is a non-profit organization with over 20 years of establishment. Our mission is to promote and foster an appreciation of the Chinese language and cultural values. We are located in the East Bay in Fremont, California. We are a non-profit Chinese school with a long history. Class offerings include Cantonese with Traditional Chinese Characters and Mandarin with Simplified Chinese Characters. Our school welcomes all types of students, regardless of Chinese or Non-Chinese heritage, and students with any or no Chinese language background. Children can start as young as 3 years old, and we welcome transfer students and have year-round acceptance. In addition, we provide SAT Chinese subject test preparation, tutoring for math and English, and classes for abacus, drawing, kung-fu, music, and adult business Mandarin, etc.
Effective 2016, we are accredited by the Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) and students who complete grades 9 through 12 can receive FUSD high school language class credits. In Fall 2019, we began offering an after school academic enrichment program and can arrange after school transportation.
