The Australian Chinese Performing Artists Association(ACPAA) serves as a bridge between the peoples of Australia and China, bringing Australian cultural productions to China, whilst also introducing Australian audiences to Chinese performing arts productions at a range of free and low cost performances. Where possible we seek to engage members of other ethnic communities in our productions in order to promote harmonious community relations.
In association with government bodies and our benefactors, we also seek to undertake development work in the Chinese community, which includes workshops and seminars.
Over the last thirty years, the relationship between China and Australia has been growing rapidly across the full range of links. At the same time, Chinese culture is enjoying a renaissance both at home and abroad.
