At Angela Preschool & Kindergarten, we use a positive approach to behavior management. Positive communication and role modeling helps children develop internal controls. We take a preventive approach to discipline by demonstrating appropriate social skills and by providing clear explanations as to why certain behaviors are less than appropriate. When conflicts arise, children are encouraged to choose alternative modes of behavior that fit within the classroom guidelines. Angela Preschool & Kindergarten absolutely forbids any form of verbal or physical abuse of children. No child shall be hit, spanked, humiliated, or subject to any corporal punishment.
