Bosch in Singapore | Bosch Singapore. Bosch has been present in Singapore since 1923. It first began as a collaboration with Diesel Electric (Malaysia) Pte Ltd. The company delivered several ‘firsts’ products from Power Tools and Automotive Aftermarket into the Southeast Asian market. With the acquisition of Diesel Electric in 1973, Robert Bosch (SEA) Pte Ltd was born. Following the set-up of new business divisions and expanding services, a new building was built and commissioned as the new regional headquarters in 1996.
Today, Bosch is represented in Singapore by four companies - Robert Bosch (SEA) Pte Ltd, Bosch Rexroth Pte Ltd, Bosch Packaging Technology Pte Ltd and BSH Home Appliances Pte Ltd, of which Bosch has a 50 percent interest.
