And while we are under new ownership, we are committed to honoring the same high academic standards set forth by the schools which preceded us at this location: Premier Academy West Covina and Kaizen Academy. Our focus is on raising the academic performance of good students to even higher levels of achievement in a wide variety of subjects and on college entrance exams, as well as providing fun and enriching extracurricular classes and cultural field trips.
Can Academy provides a comprehensive curriculum for grades 1 -12. Classes begin at 3:30 PM during the school year, with ample time set aside for students to complete homework assignments with teacher supervision. Our summer program offers a choice of a half-day or full-day schedule of classes, as well as weekly field trips.
Can Academy’s classes cover a wide range of subjects, including academic and extracurricular courses, and intensive test-preparation workshops for the SAT, ACT, PSAT, TOEFL, AP, and ISEE. Private tutoring sessions can be arranged for students in most cities in the San Gabriel valley.
