Chinese Australian Services Society (CASS) was founded in 1981 and is a registered charitable organisation. Its main service objective is to provide a wide range of welfare services to the community, assisting migrants to settle and integrate into the Australian society. Through the provision of multicultural interaction and activities, it fosters better understanding and the building of friendly relationships among the different communities. It also promotes the understanding to Chinese culture and develops children’s interest in arts and culture.
CASS provides a comprehensive range of community services and activities in a wide geographical area which includes Sydney Inner West, Southern regions, South-West regions, the Northern suburbs and Wollongong. It serves the Chinese, Koreans, Indonesians and other people in the general community as well. More than 1,800 families access its services and activities weekly.
