The Chinese Musical Voices, founded in 1988, is a non-political, non-religious and non-profit organization formed by the choral music lovers from the greater Delaware Valley region. The mission of the group is to share the common interest of singing and communication through media of mutual ethnic respect.
Our season starts in September and ends in June the following year. The primary activities include the weekly rehearsals, and the annual concert held towards the end of the season. In addition, we often are invited to participate the cultural festival celebrations, community service, and recitals at the nursing homes.
The CMV is a singing group of four parts, namely the Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. Our repertoire consists mainly the Chinese choral music, and is also supplemented with the classic western choral music. We welcome the choral music lovers to join us.
