The Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne is a non-profit youth society which celebrates and promotes all aspects of chinese culture. The aims of Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne CYSM are multi-faceted. Primarily, it aims to educate young Australians with chinese descendency about their heritage through participation in traditional activities. Beyond this, CYSM provides a centre for youth that fosters friendship, teamwork and a sense of community and has therefore continuously evolved to maintain its relevance to its members. Consequently, the Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne CYSM now coordinates a diverse range of activities that also extend beyond the traditional realms.
