The Great Britain-China Centre is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes mutual understanding between the UK and China and aims to build long-term connections between decision-makers in the two countries. The Great Britain-China Centre believes that the UK and China will prosper politically, socially and economically through better cooperation and understanding.
Great Britain-China Centre is expert in the design and delivery of projects aimed at sharing UK and EU legal, social and good governance best practice models with China. As China develops over the next ten years, the UK will play an active role in sharing best practice and become increasingly receptive to engaging with China across a wide range of issues. Fostering long term relationships will be vital for the future of both countries. The GBCC is dedicated to promoting this understanding.
Set up in 1974, Great Britain-China Centre is a not-for profit company limited by guarantee and an executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Great Britain-China Centre is governed by a Board and our Chairman is appointed by the Secretary of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs.
