With its unique location, the Zhong Hua Hotel is one the most recognisable historical buildings in Sopot. Our hotel is conveniently located within a walking distance from the Pier, Sopot’s main shopping and entertainment street (ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino) and the concert hall.
Oriental bedroom design that follows feng shui, the ancient practice of arranging space so as to ensure harmony with the natural environment, provides tranquillity, comfort and a perfect space for leisure or work.
We pride ourselves on our hotel restaurant offering original menu from the Far East.
The building was erected in 1907 according to the design of Paul Puchműller. It was known as the Southern Bath and it was divided into three sections: for ladies, gentlemen and families.
The family section featured a pool and a slide for children. The main building offered hairdressing services, cafes and restaurants.
After World War I, a seaplane base was built near the Southern Bath offering flights to Germany.
With its beautiful wooden architecture inspired by the old Norse motifs, the Bath building has remained a landmark of the Sopot seaside resort to this day. It was restored and converted into a hotel by the Min Hoong company in 1995.
