Chrysler Jeep Automotive of Singapore was established in 1996 when it was appointed the distributors of Chrysler and Jeep brands of automobiles in Singapore. It started operations at its Leng Kee Road showroom with four models -- the Grand Voyager and Neon from the Chrysler stable, and the Grand Cherokee and the Wrangler from Jeep. The Dodge brand was added in 2002 with the introduction of the Dodge Caliber.
Since then more models have been added to the range, with the Chrysler 300C, Jeep Patriot and the Dodge Journey joining the ranks. The 300C, together with the Grand Voyager, have made their presence felt and are now ranked as the more popular Chrysler models sold here.
In February 2010, CJAS moved into a new glass-walled showroom at 1 Chang Charn Road, boasting a floor area of some 6,000sq ft, with a capacity to display eight cars. It will showcase the new generation of Chrysler vehicles in association with Fiat S.p.A. in the not- too-distant future.
