Ai-Cheng Mandarin Chinese School, established in 1972, is a non-profit organization run by dedicated teachers and volunteers.
The objective of Ai-Cheng is to provide citizens in the community an opportunity to better understand and appreciate the Chinese language, tradition and culture; and to act as a bridge between the Canadian and Chinese cultures. The school offers a stimulating and enjoyable learning environment.
Besides language learning, another goal is to help students build social skills through a monthly theme based on Chinese traditional teaching, such as, respect, kindness, perseverance, tolerance etc. The school also offers specialized Mandarin language program catering to adults from various professional groups.
