Merit Chinese School Located in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, Merit Chinese School has served the local community since 1987. It is a non-profit organization registered under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Merit Chinese School The School teaches the Chinese dialect of Cantonese, found in the regions of Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China. Starting from school year 2006, Merit Chinese School has expanded the program to include Mandarin Chinese.
Merit Chinese School In 2013, the school enrollment is approximately 130 students, ages 4 to 17, from different parts of the metroplex including Dallas, Plano, Richardson, Allen, Coppell, Garland, Lewisville, Rockwall and Rowlett. Students come from different cultural background including Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand.
