Ottawa Tai Chi Chuan Association (OTCA) was found on June 1, 1985 at Adult High School, 300 Rochester Street, Ottawa.
Ottawa Tai Chi Chuan Association OTCA was incorporated on June 14, 1988 with non-profit organization status, its primary objectives are:
- To promote Tai Chi Chuan by holding exercise demonstration, public meeting, classes and conferences.
- To encourage and improve cultural links between the Chinese community and other ethnic groups in Ottawa,
- To promote fellowships among its members, and to sponsor activities which benefit the membership at large.
