The Shaolin Kung Fu Centre is an authentic, traditional, tiger-style Shaolin kung fu school. It is headed by Master (Sifu) Ly, a gold and silver medal champion at the Ontario Open Martial Arts Tournament.
Sifu Ly started training in 1978 at age 11 and has dedicated the past 20 years to teaching students self-defense, chi kung breathing, proper diet, and spiritual growth. At the Shaolin Centre our students gain improved physical and mental health, learning self-defense skills that consistently place them at the top of local and international martial arts competitions.
Located in Nepean, Ontario, the Shaolin Kung Fu Centre offers a safe and rigorous kids program that encourages all children to surpass themselves and be the best they can, while having fun at the same time. Our family-style environment teaches not only martial arts but respect for self and others. The Shaolin Centre is also the only school in the Ottawa area that offers traditional lion dancing, to further augment the traditional training.
