Sinica International Enterprise Co., Ltd. - In 1986, Sinica Company set up Sanyang Range Hood Company in New York area (Flushing) to promote its range hoods. The appearance and structure of the product, however, failed to satisfy our customers` requirements. In 1989, the Company established Pacific Co., Ltd. to manufacture Pacific Brand Range Hood that had been redesigned by our engineers and technicians. The new type of range hood was powerful and soon became a famous and popular product. Customers preferred the new range hoods because of our excellent product quality and after-sale service that allowed them to buy our range hoods with satisfaction and use them at ease.
Unfortunately, a defective structure worked out by a designing company in Hong Kong was introduced into our design in 1993. Although the product became thinner and quieter, oil dripping occurred at the return port. An oil cup was added to the suction port to collect oil drips, which greatly reduced the sucking force. Furthermore, the shaft of Taiwan motors brought out wear four years later. All these resulted in increased noise and reduced suction, as well as oil dripping that was because the fan at the suction port could not spread all the collected cooking grease. More complaints were received from customers. In 1994, therefore, we worked tighter with Sinica Inc. in Japan and Du Pont in U.S. and modified the design. The main improvements are as follows:
Internal structure
Motors made by Japan are used. The suction ports at the rear have been moved 17" away from the wall, and the electric lamps have been moved to the rear (When installed, the suction ports will hang right over the front burners of the gas range). A patent double oil tray is adopted. Suction is up to 1,040 C.F.M., with sucking force more than 3 pounds. Fast separation of cooking grease from cooking fume, and oil collected can be discharged in 10 seconds, no more oil dripping at the suction port. The suction fan and oil tray can be cleaned automatically, without the need for dismantling.
External structure
Unique colored Teflon double-layer coating (an oil-repellent coating product made by Du Pont) applied to the range hood case at more than 270oC. Oil-repellent surface can be cleaned without damaging the case.
