Caxias do Sul Airport (IATA: CXJ, ICAO: SBCX) is an international airport in southern Brazil, located in the city of Caxias do Sul, in the state of Paraná, about 400 km from the Brazilian capital, Brasilia. The airport is managed by the Brazilian Civil Aviation Authority and is one of the largest international airports in Brazil and the most important airport in the south of the country. The airport has a 3,000 meter long runway that can accommodate large passenger aircraft. With a capacity of over 2 million passengers per year, it is one of the busiest airports in Brazil. The airport has several routes that connect it to all parts of Brazil as well as Latin America, the United States, Europe and Africa.
