Hotan Airport (IATA: HTN, ICAO: ZWTN), located in Hotan City, Xinjiang, is a civil airport in Hotan area of Xinjiang, and the only international airport in Xinjiang. The airport is located in the southeastern part of Hotan City, about 20 kilometers from Hotan city center, about 25 kilometers from Hotan County, and about 3 kilometers from Hotan City Airport Road. The airport was officially opened to traffic on July 1, 2006, and is the third international airport in Xinjiang, and the only international airport in Xinjiang. The airport is equipped with a 2.8 km long runway, which can accommodate large and medium-sized passenger planes at the same time. The airport has a terminal building, which can accommodate 500 people waiting for flights at the same time. The airport can provide at least 20 flights per day, including domestic and international flights. Domestic flights connecting to Hotan Airport include Urumqi, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Kunming, Xi`an, Chongqing, Chengdu, Changsha, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Qingdao, Jinan, Harbin, Dalian, Xiamen, Nanjing, Tianjin and other cities.
