Santiago International Airport (SCL) is the main international airport serving Santiago, Chile. It is located in the commune of Pudahuel, about 20 km (12 mi) northwest of downtown Santiago. It is the largest airport in Chile in terms of passenger traffic and cargo handled, and is the busiest airport in South America. The airport is owned and operated by Nuevo Pudahuel S.A., a subsidiary of the Chilean Air Force.
