Trabzon Airport (IATA: TZX, ICAO: LTCF) is an airport in the western province of Trabzon, Turkey, located in the village of Lasar on the outskirts of the city of Trabzon, about 20 km from the city center. The airport was built in 1962 and is one of the oldest airports in Turkey and one of the most important military airports in Turkey. The airport has a 2,500-meter runway that can accommodate the take-off and landing of large passenger aircraft. The airport can accommodate about 50 aircraft per day and about 500,000 passengers per year. The airport has a terminal building that provides passenger, baggage, gate, business center, restaurant, and café services. The airport also provides transportation services such as rental cars, cabs and buses.
