Located in Lincang City, Yunnan Province, Lincang Airport is a medium-sized civil airport, which was officially opened to traffic on December 28, 2006, and is the third civil airport in Yunnan Province. Lincang Airport is located in the northeast of Lincang City, about 20 km from the city, about 15 km from Lincang Municipal Government and about 10 km from the central business district of Lincang City.
