Tacheng Airport (IATA: TCG, ICAO: ZWTC) is an international airport located in Tacheng City, Xinjiang, China. The airport is located in the northwestern part of Tacheng city, about 20 km from the city center and about 30 km from Tacheng Port, the largest port of Tacheng city. The airport was officially opened to traffic on December 28, 2006, and is the third international airport in Xinjiang and the first airport named after a city in Xinjiang. The airport has a 2.5 km-long runway, which can meet the requirements of large passenger planes for take-off and landing. At present, the airport has opened several domestic routes, as well as international routes to the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Russia and other countries.
