Wenhua Putuohe Airport is located in Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, and is the only civil airport in the state and one of the largest civil airports in Yunnan Province. The airport is located in Puzhehe Town, Wenshan City, about 20 kilometers from Wenshan city and 170 kilometers from Kunming City.
Wenshan Puzhehei Airport was officially opened on December 28, 2006, which is the third navigable airport in Yunnan Province and the first airport named after a county-level city in Yunnan Province. The airport has a 2.5-kilometer-long runway, which can accommodate large and medium-sized passenger planes at the same time. The airport is well-equipped to meet various aviation needs such as passenger transportation, cargo transportation and technical flights.
