Melbourne University Chinese Theatre Group (MUCTG) is a non-profit student theatre group, established in 1993 and based at the University of Melbourne. The aim of MUCTG is to provide students with the opportunity to participate in theatre and express themselves creatively. It also seeks to promote Chinese culture within the local community.
Melbourne University Chinese Theatre Group MUCTG’s annual Cantonese and Mandarin productions are well-received by audiences from all backgrounds; on average attracting over 1500 people every year to see our shows. Roughly 100 people are actively involved in the production process each semester.
